Group Term Life Insurance

While an employee is with Broward Community College on a full-time basis, he or she will be covered by the Board of Trustees up to a maximum of $250,000 of term life insurance. The exact coverage amount must correspond to an employee’s annual salary rounded to the next $1,000.

Supplemental Group Term Life Insurance

All full-time eligible employees can purchase additional term life insurance equivalent to one or two times their annual salary rounded to the next $1,000. The limit is $200,000 and must correspond to the employee’s salary.
