Overview: Featuring hands-on activitie, Career Expo 2008 is BCC's annual showcase of career and technical education programs. In addition to the program showcase, Career Expo also highlights the student services the college offers such as, financial aid, the Learning Resource Centers and the clubs and activities for student life. The previous Career Expo had over 1,100 visitors attend - primarily juniors and seniors from local area high schools. This year the college is expecting 1,200 high school students in addition to current BCC students who are undecided on a major. Lunch will be served to both our visitors and Career Expo participants (staff, faculty, volunteers).
Student Attendance: All students are welcome, however we ask that you please encourage students who have not yet selected a major to attend.
Program Attendance: If you have not already registered your program/department for Career Expo, please download, fill out, and return the registration form below and e-mail or to Danielle Flowers by Wednesday, March 26th at dflowers@broward.edu / or pony to WHC Bldg. 31/Room 332.
For those programs/departments that plan to participate in Career Expo 2008, please note that we are expecting 1,200+ visitors. Ensure you have enough materials to go and out.
