 | The Committee on Environmental Sustainability is proud to announce that student exhibits, recycling information, a Graduation Pledge table, and sustainable food provided by Whole Foods Market® Coral Springs will highlight this year’s Earth Day festivities. The week of April 21 will celebrate the new wildflower plantings throughout BCC campuses.

Different activities at the various campus sites will include native plant sales, student art contests, film screenings, voter registration, campus cleanups, native animals, career opportunities, wildflower workshops and many suggestions for sustainable actions to live in harmony with the earth’s life-sustaining system. Earth Day Events on April 24

Celebrate the creative works of our students inspired by wildflowers at a program in the BCC North Campus/North Regional Library auditorium from 11 – 2. The college and the community will come together to learn about the benefits of planting native wildflowers and honor the winners of the student art, poetry, and poster contests. Student work will be on display in the Library throughout Wildflower Week, April 21 – 25.
