Phi Beta Lambda represents BCC at State Leadership Conference

Business students in the Broward Community College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda won 28 awards at the 58th annual Florida Leadership Conference on April 10-12 in Tampa.


BCC’s competitors included students from other community colleges as well as four-year institutions such as Florida International University, the University of Florida, University of Central Florida and others.


Students winning first-place awards are: Maria Rosa Blanco, Theresa Clark, Paige Ford, Omar Ghanchi, Katrina Hernandez, Jewel Islam, Ashley Jalieleyan, Milo Jetkins, Daniel Ledesma, Oliver Rival and Sofia Rodriguez.


Second-place finishers are: Michael Chaves, Kris Dolen, Brian Jeworski, Ashford O’Neal and Steven Peterson.


Third-place award recipients are: Blanco, Clark, Andrea Cruz, Maria Elena Cruz, Jeworski, Jordan Ever (who won two awards), Ford, Islam, John Randazzo, Rival, Jean Rock, Andres Sanchez, Pablo Serp, and John Telucian.


Fourth-place award recipients are: Dolen (who won two awards), Jalileyan, Jetkins, Dwayne Murray, O’Neal, and Peterson. Jeworski, Murray and Rock won fifth-place awards.
