Florida Bright Futures Scholarship rewards Florida High School graduates who demonstrate high academic achievement and enroll in eligible Florida post secondary institutions. This scholarship program has three award levels, the Florida Academic Scholars Award, the Florida Medallion Scholars Award, and the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award. Each award level has different academic criteria for eligibility and receives a different award amount.

Authorization forms and eligibility criteria are available from your high school guidance office or the Florida Department of Education. (Call toll free in the U.S. at 1-888-827-2004).

As of fall 2006, Florida Medallion Scholars students who are attending a Florida public community college may receive an award of 100% of their tuition and fees for college credit courses leading toward an Associate degree.

Florida Bright Futures - Medallion Scholarship - 75% tuition for students working toward a certificate program. You must enroll in at least 6 non-remedial credits.

Florida Bright Futures - Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship Award - 75% tuition for student enrolled in a minimum of 6 non remedial credits.

You must pay the remaining 25% balance before the payment due date to secure your classes.
