Getting Started

Follow the steps below to help you decide if e-learning is right for you and to help you prepare for success in your e-learning experience.

Take the e-Learning Readiness Quiz

Print and take this self-assessment quiz to help you determine if taking a fully online course is right for you. When you register for an online course, you will be prompted to take the same quiz before you complete the registration process.

Review Benefits and Expectations of Online Learning
Please read this short article, which provides excellent points on being a winning online student.

Review Resources Available for e-Learners

Click on the Student Resources link on the left navigation menu and explore the links to the various resources and support services that are available to you.

Check Class Schedule and Register!

First, check the Course Information link on the left to find out how to make sure the class you want to take is available online. Pay special attention to the notes associated with each online class which will let you know if there is a required face-to-face orientation or other on-campus meetings for tests, labs, etc. When you have found the class you want, click on the Register for Courses link on the left for detailed instructions.
