How will a Ready to Work Credential benefit my business?


This credential will demonstrate to employers that employees have the skills to meet employment expectations, get a promotion, or receive a raise. Also, knowing a job applicant possesses a Florida Ready to Work Credential, an employer can be more confident that he or she can begin the job with the skills necessary for successful job performance or that he or she is prepared to move to the next level within the business or organization.


Who is eligible to earn a Ready to Work Credential?

Any employee in the state of Florida is eligible to earn this credential.

 

What assessments are required to earn a Ready to Work Credential?


Mastery of three (3) WorkKeys assessments must be demonstrated
• Reading for Information
• Applied Mathematics
• Locating Information


What do assessment scores mean for me and my company?


The higher the score, the greater the participant’s ability to perform more complex skills.

• BRONZE – Minimum score, skills are applicable for 35% of jobs today
• SILVER – Mid-level score, skills are applicable for 64% of jobs today

• GOLD – Highest score, skills are applicable for 90% of jobs today
