The BCC Procurement Services Department has held training sessions on procuring environmentally perferable products with the staff, and is implementing these principles into the practices of the department. This includes such practices as buying products with recycled content, using computers with Energy Star ratings for energy efficiency, and requiring Vendors to recycle construction waste on building projects.
