Customer Service is an important part of every BCC Departments mission. Helping our students and staff is an integral part of our daily activities. When a Department is not available or unable to resolve a situation, the issue can be referred to the Help desk services provided by Information Technology. Students and staff are also able to contact the Helpdesk directly.
The first point of contact for solutions and assistance is frequently the Helpdesk Center. The Helpdesk Center staff is frequently the first point of contact for a wide variety of requests for assistance. This is facilitated through our one place, one number point of contact.
Our Help desk staff attempts to resolve issues as received or to direct the request to appropriate BCC staff. Class room equipment problems are directed to the technical support staff on each campus. Requests for security, Phone services, application support are directed to the IT staff for these areas.
Imaging, Blackberry activation, and Production Support are other customer support services provided by the Help desk staff.
BCC's Imaging System allows our staff and faculty to store all paper documents into a computerized storage system for rapid searching and viewing. This system supports sharing of documents by multiple people on the college network.
