These English Language courses are for the non-native English speaker. The students will learn how to survive and thrive in everyday life in an English speaking country. Skill development includes conversation, fluency, articulation, grammar, reading, writing and critical thinking skills in English. Evening and daytime courses are available.   Content emphasizes basic structure and grammar. 

 

If any textbooks are required or suggested for any of the courses listed in this section, the instructor will notify the students during the first class. The books can be purchased at campus bookstores.

 

Students may take the self assessment here if they are unsure of what level of class they should take.

Business Language Boutique

Language Boutique is a new concept  in personalized teaching. The classes will consist of a maximum of 5 students. The 5 student environment, with an extended interactive methodology, will instill a sense of confidence in the students. This course is geared to the students who wish to work, or are working in a professional business environment. The first part of the course consists of basic English language skills, for example vocabulary, grammar and speech fluency. The second part of the course consists of typical business situations with reading materials from the business world, business specific career vocabulary and workforce conversational English.

ZERO ENGLISH: START FROM THE BEGINNING

This course is designed for students with ZERO knowledge of English. It starts with the simple ABC’s in a 1-2-3 (See it-Say it–Use it) Step-By-Step technique. Each lesson will cover a specific grammar structure (present and past tense verbs) which will be practiced through repetition exercises, dialogues, and writing exercises based on real life experiences.
