Application for Admission

Associates Degree Students must fill out this form and be accepted into The Robert "Bob" Elmore Honors Institute before applying for Honors Scholarships. Both current BC students and prospective BC students may apply.  Bachelor's Degree students should use this form.

No Deadline

Graduation Request & University Preference Form

Students must fill out this form to be listed as an Honors Institute Graduate on their transcript and to receive the Honors Certificate. The Institute will use University preference information to help Honors Graduates obtain transfer scholarships. However, the Institute does not offer students transfer scholarships. Funding comes directly from your four-year university.
 
Important note for December Graduates: Most schools do NOT have scholarship funding available for students admitted in January.  We will still try to help you stand out among other applicants.  If you plan to graduate in December and start University in January, you need to complete the Graduation Request and University Preference Form the January BEFORE your December graduation.

 

Deadline for May and Dec graduates: 18 January 2013  ​

Honors Scholarship for International Studies (HSIS)

This scholarship is designed to help Honors students participate in BC sponsored international study programs. Study abroad information can be foudn on the study aborad web site. The scholarship ammount depends on the funding available and the number of applications received. Please read the form (click here) for full details and instructions.
 

Deadline: Usually in March of each year​

Honors By Contract

Students can use this form to apply for Honors credit for a non-Honors course. Please plan ahead and consult with your campus Honors Coordinator early.  Students may apply for up to two Honors by Contract classes. Consult the official Honors by Contract form for a detailed description and instructions.

Deadline: The student must submit the form to the Honors Coordinator within the first two weeks of class.

Term Scholarships

This is the application form to apply for the Honors Institute Fulltime and Part-time Term Scholarships.  Awards will vary in amount each term, and are based on merit, not need. Please see the Scholarships page for further information about BC Honors Institute Scholarships. Note: A Term Scholarship is different from an "Irm's 100" Broward Dream Scholarship.
