  • The College Scorecard is a consumer planning  tool and resource to assist prospective students and their families as they evaluate options in selecting a school.  
  • The College Navigator which is a consumer tool that provides school information to include tuition and fees, retention and graduation rates, use of financial aid, student loan default rates and features a cost calculator and school comparison tool.  
  • The Financial Aid Shopping Sheet is a model aid award letter designed to simplify the information about costs and financial aid to compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school.  Once the student applies and is given a pin number, the Shopping Sheet can be located in their myBC account under the Financial Aid tab.
  • The “Paying for College” webpage which can be used by prospective students to enter the names of up to three schools and receive detailed financial information on each one and to enter actual financial aid award information. 
  • MISSION UNITED is a critical program supporting US military veterans and their families in Broward County by helping them re-acclimate to civilian life. Key focus areas include employment readiness, education, health, legal assistance, emergency financial aid, and housing.
  • 2-1-1 Service for Military & Veterans Affairs - Every day in Broward County, families deal with deployment, separation and reunification with family members, and readjusting to daily life. Oftentimes the most difficult problem is not knowing where to turn when help is needed. No matter if you're a veteran, active military, reservist, transitioning to civilian life or a family member, 2-1-1 can help you find the help you need.
  • Military OneSource is a confidential Department of Defense-funded program providing comprehensive information on every aspect of military life at no cost to active duty, National Guard, and reserve members, and their families.
  • Military OneSource Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (MYCAA) - Comprehensive counseling services are available at no cost to all eligible military spouses through the SECO Career Center. Spouses can contact the SECO Career Center for personalized assistance with their education and career goals. Call Military OneSource to speak to a certified SECO Career Counselor at 800-342-9647.
  • connects Veterans, their family members and friends, and other advocates with mental health information, local resources, and inspiring stories of recovery. Visitors can find reliable information on how to cope with challenges such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, and transitioning from service. The site is free and accessible to everyone.
  • National Call Center for Homeless Veterans - 877-424-3838 Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their family members, friends and supporters - can make the call to or chat online with the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans, where trained counselors are ready to talk confidentially 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
