Login Problems

These are the most common reasons you may be having trouble logging into BConline/D2L:

1. You do not know your BC email address username or are using the wrong username.
Your BConline/D2L username is the same as your BC email username (not your student number, which is what you use to log into myBC). Your username is the part of your BC email address before the @ symbol, in all lowercase. For example, if John Smith's email address is jsmith01@mail.broward.edu then his username is just jsmith01.
NOTE: If you don't know your BC email address, you can find it by logging into myBC and selecting Student E-mail/Account Information.

2. You cannot remember your password.
Your default email password is your 6-digit birth month and year (MMYYYY). If your password does not work or you forgot it, you can reset your password here.* You should note that it may take up to two hours for a password reset to take effect.

3. You are attempting to log in before the start of the term or after the class has ended.
BConline classes are not active before the first day of the term and usually end seven days after the close of the class. Contact the instructor for further information on the start and end dates.

4. You have not paid.
You must have registered and paid or the course will not be available.
