Students can submit their application at a Health Science Admission Office located at both the North and Central campuses. The admission staff are located in Bldg. 8/Rm. 129 and 130 on Central campus, and Bldg. 46/Rm. 253 on North campus. Students may mail their completed application to the campus addresses and program locations listed on the admission application.

NOTE: Meeting the minimum admission requirements provides prospective nursing applicants eligibility to submit applications for admission consideration yet does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
The Generic students” admission is three (3) times a year for each term August, January, May. Dates in table below:

The LPN-RN Transitional students’ admission is one (1) time a year in Summer Term, May. Date is in table below.
The application period for the LPN-RN Transition Program is Open Ended. The May Open-Ended Application Period means that students are allowed to submit an application for consideration to the LPN-RN Transition Program until all available seats are filled.

No. Students who submit their application prior to completing the pre-requisites will not be considered for admission.  
Yes. The required test is the HESI Admission Assessment (A2) Test. The HESI Test is offered only on Central Campus in Building 17 (Library) on the 2nd floor Learning Resource Center (LRC). Testing can be scheduled Monday-Saturday by appointment only. For further information call 954 201 6134 or email .
Students that have applied for a particular term and decide they cannot attend that term will be guided to apply to the next available class in the nursing program.  All Applications are subject to current admission requirements
The LPN applying to the LPN-RN Transition nursing program option requires a current Florida Practical Nurse License (LPN), without restriction/obligations/public complaint. The requirements are otherwise the same admission requirements for the LPN-RN Transition program as the generic ADN program that they select to attend the nursing program.  All Applications are subject to current admission requirements.

NO. There is no wait-list. Students not selected for a specific class in the Nursing program must re-apply in order to be considered for the next incoming class.
