Qualified public school teachers are currently in demand all over the state of Florida. Certified teachers in the critical shortage areas include mathematics, science and exceptional student education (Bureau of Labor Statistics), which are all subjects we cover in our Teacher Education Program.
The Teacher Education Program has over 80 graduates from our five programs and over 75% are currently teaching in their field. Graduates are not only teaching in public schools in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties, but also in private and charter schools in the tri-county area. Additionally, some graduates have chosen to return to school to pursue a master's degree in education or a content area.
