According to the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovations’ Employment Projections Through 2013, bookkeeping, auditing and accounting clerks are in high demand, especially within Broward County where those careers are near the top of the list for occupations gaining the most new jobs.

Nationally, according to the US Department of Labor, the large size of this occupation ensures plentiful job openings and a growing economy will result in more financial transactions and other activities that require these types of workers.
