Achieving the Dream (AtD) Program is a five-year national initiative to help more community college students succeed. This program works to support students who traditionally have faced barriers to academic success. Students in developmental classes and those in the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program are directly supported through a variety of Achieving the Dream focus areas.
These efforts include:
- Student Success Specialists
- Individual Holistic Advisement
- Integrated Learning Communities
- Student Success Courses
- Additional Financial Support
Our goal is to ensure that all of our students:
- Earn a certificate or degree
- Transfer to continue their studies
The Achieving the Dream program at Broward College works to galvanize resources and ensure that all of our students are given genuine opportunities to succeed. We welcome students and faculty to join our efforts to learn more by e-mailing our AtD directors, Carole Comarcho (South Campus) or Trish Joyce (Central Campus) ccomarch@broward.edu tjoyce@broward.edu
"As a leading community college, we welcome our students’ challenges and aspirations as our own."
