• January 23rd / 24th:

Dr. Barbara J. Millis from UT San Antonio by way of other universities and colleges where she has held a number of Scholarship of Teaching/Learning (SoTL) positions.  Educator/Author will facilitate workshops on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23/24, 1½ days - 3 workshops on Classroom Assessment and Course Design for Cooperative Learning / Deep Learning using the Learning-centered Syllabus

• February 5th:

Dr. Milt Cox, math professor and researcher of facilitated Faculty Learning Communities, will do an overview of FLCs [regularly scheduled mtgs to discuss any one of a menu of teaching foci, from student success to active learning to transfer of learning to classroom management.   (Each participant who follows-up with commitment to participate selects a project to complete for the term.

• February 13th:

Dr. Patricia Maslin-Ostrowski, qualitative research and educator at FAU, will facilitate a learning-centered workshop on classroom assessment, in which she will model and blend theory with practical tools.
