Broward College uses the
ACCUPLACER CLM to place eligible students into higher level math courses. Students are referred to the CLM according to the math section of thePlacement Testing Table. The CollegeLevel Math test measures your ability to solve problems that involve collegelevel mathematics concepts. There are five types of collegelevel math questions:
 Algebraic operations

Solutions of equations and inequalities

Coordinate geometry

Applications and other algebra topics

Functions and trigonometry

About the CLM:

There are 20 questions.

The test is untimed but the average completion time is 1 hour.

There is a buildin pop up calculator or certain questions.
(Handheld calculators are not permitted.)
Test Fees:
 First attempt is free for all Broward College students.
 All retest attempts cost $15 per attempt.
Retesting Policy for:
Postsecondary students:
 May retest once every 24 hours.
 Unlimited retesting allowed.
 Retesting fee per retest is $15.
 Remediation between retesting is strongly encouraged.
 Students retesting after the add/drop period and decide to withdraw are responsible for 100% of the cost for withdrawals.
Dual Enrollment:
 May retest once every 24 hours.
 Unlimited retesting allowed with high school prior approval. Must provide a new signed high school testing referral from the guidance office for each test attempt.
 Retesting fee per retest is $15.
 Remediation between retesting is strongly encouraged.
 Students retesting after the add/drop period and decide to withdraw are responsible for 100% of the cost for withdrawals.
College Academy:
 May ONLY test once per admission period. No retest is allowed.
