Tony Dennison Named 2nd Team All-American
Sophomore Guard finishes 7th in scoring in NJCAA at 24.1 points/game

Tony Dennison was selected second team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American.  This achievement caps a sophomore season that includes being named first team NJCAA All-Region VIII, first team All-Florida College Activities Association (FCCAA) and Southern Conference Player of the Year.  Dennison finished seventh in the NJCAA in scoring (24.1 pg) and fifth in steals (4.5 pg). 
He was named to the FCCAA All-Tournament team after averaging 24 points per game and helping the Seahawks reach the Final Four. 
 
As a freshman, Dennison was selected third team NJCAA All-American, first team All-FCCAA and first team All-Southern Conference.  Dennison finished second in the NJCAA in scoring (27.7 pg) and 27th in field goal percentage (63.2).  
 
BCC Athletics congratulates Tony Dennison for an outstanding career and wishes the best for him in his future endeavors.  Dennison signed a national letter of intent to play at Hofstra (N.Y.) University for the 2008-09 season.
