Bill Kramer enters his second season as assistant coach for BCC. Kramer joined the program after serving over ten years as a coach and umpire throughout the South Florida travel softball and high school community. Under his leadership of the softball program at Pine Crest High School, the team won two District 13-3A runner-up trophies and one District 13-3A championship. During his tenure as a travel softball coach, his teams won numerous tournaments throughout Florida. Additionally, his teams had success at the Independent Softball Association (ISA) and National Softball Association (NSA) participating in the national tournaments at Atlanta, Georgia in 2001 and Charlotte, North Carolina in 2003. In 2005, coach Kramer was instrumental in assisting a powerful Coral Springs team to advance to the Amateur Softball Association nationals in Owensboro, Ky. He has helped organize all aspects of an annual summer travel softball tournament as co-vice president of Youth Softball Association of Coral Springs (YSACS). Additional duties included interviewing and appointing travel softball coaches. As equipment manager he completed inventories, distribution, maintenance and purchasing additional equipment. When he is not coaching he is employed as a project manager by Madsen, Kneppers & Associates, Inc., a construction consulting firm. He is married to the former Sandy Hale and they are the proud parents of daughter Lauren (17) and son Austin (14). |
