To start in the Professional Pilot Program students need to be college level (score 440 in each subject) according to State approved cut-off scores .Upon arrival in the USA, students can also take a Computerized Placement Test CPT. If student language is other than English, they might be required to take LOEP test. According to scores in the LOEP, SAT or CPT student might be required to spend a full term or more taking some Prep courses in English or Math before starting the Pilot Program.

Take a spoken English test  according to the International Civil Aviation Organization – ICAO and satisfy the Level 4 requirement of English Proficiency. You need to find the testing facility in your country by contacting the local Civil Aviation Authority.

Medical. Bring a minimum of an FAA third class medical examination certificate. It is recommended, however, that flight students receive at least a second class medical, as this is the minimum level needed to fly for hire. Go to the FAA web site to find a doctor near you.

TSA. Non US citizens are required to fill out an application with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) prior to flight training. Foreign students will not be allowed to fly until clearance is provided.  Please note that the Flight Training Provider is Delta Connection Academy, and two separate applications should be made, one for Private Pilot training and one for Instrument training.  This application should not be done until you are admitted to Broward College, and are ready to travel to the United States.
