Aviation Maintenance Human Factors Course

2 Days (16 hours)

Dates:            June 25 - 26, 2009

Course description:  This course will optimize the interaction between people, machines, methods, and procedures that interface within an environment.

Over 25 years as an A&P technician, inspector & Director of Maintenance in commercial, general, and military aircraft. Manager of occupational benefits for a major airline and a member of several national advisory boards on workplace safety.


Introduction to Technological Troubleshooting
1 Day ( 8 hours)

Course description: This eight-hour course, developed and endorsed by the Florida Aviation Resource Banner Center, is designed to provide participants with basic theory and techniques of troubleshooting technical systems.

*Note: Designated flight courses require minimum deposit of $1000 to set-up flight training accounts with the College.  Flight accounts may not go below $650 without approval.  Course training minimum applies although costs vary due to proficiency.  Students are eligible for refund of unused account funds.  All applicants are subject to TSA Citizenship/Immigration & background verification requirement.  Additional fee may apply.  Training deposits are made to the South Campus Cashier using the deposit slip provided at the window.  Take the receipt to bldg. 99 room 153. All students must obtain a BCC ID ($15) through Student Life, bldg. 68, and Parking Decal from Safety in building 71.
