Synergy
You have just found yourself on the wrong side of a raging river, which you must cross to get home! You have 3 boards, one tin can, 3 bandanas, and a team member who has lost his eyesight! How will your whole team get across safely?
To solve this and other such scenarios, teams must get creative, share ideas, and support each other. Synergy is a traditional "low ropes" challenge course that uses team problem-solving activities to target group dynamics and relationship-building. Professionally trained staff begin the experience with icebreakers and mixers that help participants relax and begin thinking of team. Following these opening games, the team participates in a series of mentally and/or physically challenging activities that
grow in complexity as the program progresses throughout the day. After each activity, facilitators lead discussions to help participants review and learn from the activity. The day ends with a final debriefing in which the group reflects on the entire experience, what was learned, and ways to make practical application of that learning upon returning to the work environment. Whether scaling a team wall, watching for whales on a tipsy balance boat, or escaping exploding volcanoes, the team will learn what it takes to be an effective team in the competitive business world, discover their strengths for combating today's business challenges, and develop skills necessary to function as an extraordinary team.
Synergy is a half-day program suitable for a conference center, a park, or the Tigertail campus. This option is appropriate for groups of 10 to 100 participants. Synergy is perfect for groups who: 1) enjoy and are comfortable with low ropes challenge courses; 2) have limited time; 3) wish to focus more on skill development, process, and application to real-world office dynamics; 4) are concerned about physical abilities of team members; 5) want to minimize competition and maximize interdependence; or 6) wish to target specific skills or navigate a developmental stage.
