AREA 4D WELLNESS REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION:
There are 7 classes that currently meet the Area 4D Wellness requirement for graduation. You can take ANY one of them to meet the general education requirements for the AA degree. ANY of them can also be taken for elective credit. These are:

1. HSC1101C: Introduction to Healthful Living
2. HLP1081: Health Fitness
3. PEM1131: Weight Training
4. PEM1181: Walk/Jog/Run
5. PEM1141: Aerobic Movement
6. PEM1116: Slimnastics
7. PEN1171: Aquatic Fitness
ELECTIVES (DO NOT MEET AREA 4D REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION):
There are other wellness courses that are regularly offered at Broward College's Central Campus. These can be taken as elective credit as part of the AA degree, the AS degree, or for personal interest. These classes do NOT meet the Area 4D Wellness requirement for graduation. These are:

PET1303: Foundations of Exercise Science
HSC2400: First Aid and Safety
HSC2100: Personal and Community Health
HSC1130: Contemporary Health Issues

OTHER WATER-BASED CLASSES (OFFERED AT TIGERTAIL LAKE CENTER):
The following courses are offered at the Tigertail Lake Center (954-201-4500). They can be taken as elective credit, but do not meet the general education requirement for the AA degree. Call Mr. Jon Groover at Tigertail for more information.
