Welcome to the Department of Continuing Education and Workforce Development For Health Sciences at Broward College.

The goal of the department is to provide continuing education offerings for healthcare professionals seeking to update and increase their knowledge and skills on a continuum. We believe that appropriate interprofessional collaboration in course programming fosters interaction among healthcare practitioners that improves the quality of healthcare. Continuing Education is supplemental to formal education and offered as credit, non-credit, and through a variety of independent or distant learning formats. We welcome contracted services and/or co-sponsorships with local healthcare organizations, agencies or associations, to provide quality cost effective continuing education.

We recognize our responsibility to assist health professionals to meet their current and projected educational needs by providing appropriate healthcare course information. We hope the courses you enroll in will be informative and meet your professional goals.
