Progressive Care Course: Modular Format Lectures are Progressive Care Specific – 92 hours
- Pre-requisite: Basic Arrhythmia Course or CLEP
- Modular Format: Includes online theory (ECCO), lecture and simulation
- Enrollment into AACN – Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) for 1 year!
- Full access available
- Selected modules required for course
- Simulation includes:
- ACS, Stroke Assessment, Rapid Response Case Scenarios, Defibrillation, Temporary Pacemakers and Code Blue Management Day
- Modular Format (3 Modules)
- Lectures are Progressive Care Specific
- Determined by Advisory Committee of Progressive Care Managers and Clinicians
- Class days are spread out over four (4) months
- Sign-up for each module separately.
- Sign-up may be done out of sequence, i.e. may start with Module 2 or 3 first
- A certificate of completion is issued after completion of each module
- A Progressive Care Course Certificate is issued upon completion of all three (3) modules.

- Module 1 – Cardiac and Pulmonary
- August 11 through September 24th, 2009
- Module 2 – Metabolic, Renal, Hematology, GI and Sepsis
- October 6 through November 5th, 2009
- Module 3 – Neurologic Disorders
- November 10th and 12th, 2009
