FAQs - In-kind Requests

When does Broward College accept in-kind donations requests?
Broward College reviews in-kind donations requests throughout the year.  Please note that at least eight weeks of lead-time is required.
What type of in-kind donation requests is Broward College looking for?
As with sponsorship, Broward College will give priority to organizations that align with our  three partnership priorities; however, we will base the decision on the type of opportunity being requested.
How do I apply for an in-kind donation?
Your first step is to determine that your request aligns with what Broward College can donate:
  • Goods: Meeting/auditorium/classroom/retreat space
    • For more information on our type of event space, click here
  • Services: Printing/design/photocopy (this opportunity is limited)
  • Auction items:  Existing or purchased items that are given to a nonprofit organization to include in an auction to raise funds.
  • Give-away items: Small, inexpensive -- often Broward College-branded -- items given to a nonprofit organization for inclusion in gift bags, for door prizes, etc.
If your organization is requesting any of the above examples, you are welcome to fill out the In-kind donation form.
What if I do not have some of the dates/details of events ready for the in-kind donation request/ application?
