COLLEGE LEVEL ACADEMIC SKILLS TEST: (CLAST)

All students who are first time participants must satisfy these pre-requisites before registering for the CLAST.
1. Degree seeking with at least 18 hours completed.
2. Minimum GPA of 2.0.
3. “C” or higher in ENC 1101
4. “C” or higher in MAT 1033 (or higher level)
5. If reading was required, “C” or higher in REA 0006 (or higher level).

CLAST REVIEW courses and independent study options are available. The state minimum passing scores for First Time Examinees: Essay: 6, Eng.: 295, Read: 295, Math: 295. Below are the upcoming Testing dates and registration deadlines.

Students with disabilities will need accommodation while taking the CLAST must notify the Disability Services Coordinator 954-201-7655 prior to registration. Students, who are unavailable for testing on Saturday because of religious observances, please contact the CLAST coordinator 954-201-7469 prior to registration. Some students may satisfy the CLAST requirement through CLAST Alternatives. Please ask your advisor or counselor and please read the college catalog.
