How to Receive Services
Submit to the Office of Disability Services (ODS) current documentation of your disability from a qualified clinician.
If you do not have adequate documentation, the Disability Services Specialist will provide you with a list of local diagnosticians.
After your documentation has been reviewed, the ODS Specialist will contact you.
If it has been determined that you qualify for services, an appointment will be made for an intake.
Necessary and reasonable accommodations will be provided in a timely manner, allowing at least two weeks from the time of the intake.
Students who receive assistance from the
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
or
Division of Blind Services
are required, by those agencies, to apply for financial assistance
(FASFA)
at Broward College.
