Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (March 2, 2018) –  The 2018 All-Florida Academic Team winners were announced by the Florida College System, which recognizes outstanding students across the state for their academic achievements, leadership skills and service to the community.

Eight Broward College students were distinguished as 2018 All-USA Academic Team recipients includin Tamarsha Brown, Wicliff Fleurizard, Maria Jose Delgadillo, Kemari Loy, Migaheld Maxinau, Aliri MijareUribe, Medjyna Moreau and Kezia Moros-Achong.  Each year Broward College nominates exceptional students to the competition, which is sponsored by USA Today and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
