The Arizona State University Alumni Association, in support of the Pat Tillman Foundation, has organized a local Tillman Honor Run. Residents are invited to participate by walking or running the 4.2-mile stretch. Money raised from the event goes to supporting the Tillman Scholars program. Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Broward College has hosted a Law Enforcement Memorial for more than 30 years in conjunction with the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association and the Broward County Multi-Agency Color Guard. The formal ceremony includes guest speakers and a wreath laid out in front of the Institute of Public Safety Memorial wall to honor families of fallen officers. The ceremony is open to the public.
