Broward College Supports Troops with America’s Moms for Soldiers Packing Event

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (June 3, 2014)The Broward College chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges will join representatives from America’s Moms for Soldiers on Thursday, June 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the College’s North Campus, 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd., Building 46, Room 144, Coconut Creek, to prepare care packages for soldiers, marines and airmen who are serving overseas. The event is not open to the general public. Media are invited to attend.

Students and staff will assemble, label and secure the packages, which will include snacks and hygiene products that they contributed, as well as personalized notes encouraging and thanking soldiers for their service.
