FL (October 24, 2013) – Broward College will host a series of events to
commemorate Veterans Day, honoring members of the College and South Florida
community who have served in the U.S. Military. The events are free and open to
taking place at Broward College include:

Veteran’s Fair and Keynote Speaker
Tuesday, November 5, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Broward College’s North Campus
will host a veterans fair highlighting services and resources available to
veterans at the College and in the community. Guest speaker, Brian Fleming, a combat-wounded military veteran and
resiliency coach for the U.S. military, will deliver a keynote speech at 1:30
p.m., to discuss issues facing veterans today. Fleming is considered a leading
authority on effectively battling post-traumatic stress, overcoming stress and
veteran entrepreneurship. He is also an author, motivational speaker, mentor

Broward College’s Central Campus will pay tribute to veterans during a Veteran’s
Appreciation Day event. The informative event will also offer up information
about various branches of the military, veteran’s benefits, and available services
