Course Availability
You will not be able to view the course content until the start date listed for the course, usually the first day of the semester, but sometimes it is the second or third day, depending on when the instructor sets the opening date.
Textbooks
Make sure to order your textbooks early so you have them before class begins. You can go to the bookstore in person or order books online and have them mailed to you.
Course Preview Pages
BEFORE the start of the semester, you should check the Course Preview Page, which includes important information you need to know before the class actually begins. The Course Preview Page includes information about required textbooks and supplies, mandatory on-campus meetings or exams (if there are any), and information about the orientation. Follow the steps below to get access to the Preview Page for the courses in which you have enrolled.
NOTE: If there is no Preview Page for the course you are taking, it may be necessary to contact the instructor.
When you click on the link below, you will leave this page to access the Blackboard site for the Course Preview Pages.
The animation below demonstrates the steps to locate your course information.
a. Step 1 - find the course code.
b. Step 2 - click the green triangle to expand the list to show all sections for that course. Be sure to select the correct semester.
c. Step 3 - click on the hyper-linked course title to open the preview page.
