Applying to Broward College is simple. Future students can go to the Broward College
web-site and click on the "
Future students tab" at the top of the page. Students can additionally search the Broward College
web-site.
Remember there are several steps that a student must take prior to taking EMT/Paramedic classes.
After you have been accepted to Broward College you must submit the following documentation to the admissions office to take EMS classes:
1) High school transcripts or GED
2) Verification of completed drug screen
3) Verification of completed back ground check
4) Verification of completed Physical and immunization records
5) Current AHA CPR/BLS provider card.
Drug screen and Background check packets can be picked up at the EMS program central campus location (building #8).
