The EMS program has several milestones and is designed for students to be able to earn an Associates in Science Degree in EMS in six semesters. Milestone #1 is EMT certification with the State of Florida. State certification at the EMT level is a requirement for Paramedic training. Milestone #2 is State certification at the Paramedic level. Milestone #3 is completion of the Associates in Science Degree in EMS.
