Description :
Primarily descriptive and conceptual study of
objects and events beyond the solar system in our
galaxy and in other galaxies. Upon successful
completion of this course, the students should be
able to demonstrate a familiarity with the
important astronomical entities (e.g., stars, gas,
dust, galaxies, quasars) beyond the solar system
and their evolution. Placement by Testing
