Description :
A basic laboratory course to introduce students to
the primary astronomical objects: the sun, moon,
planets, stars and galaxies. Students will use the
naked eye, telescopes and astronomical atlases to
make observations of celestial objects. In
addition, physical experiments will introduce
principles of optics, light, and gravity utilized
in astronomy. One three hour lab per week.
