	Minutes of the March 2, 2005 BCC/FACC Board Meeting Location: Central Campus

I.	Welcome and Introductions The meeting was called to order at 12:30pm by Judy Davidoff. Present were Michael Fenick, Shirley Boudousquie, Judy Davidoff, and Beverly Walker.
II.	Valentine Flower Sale Sharon was not present to give the final report.
III.	Pizza Party Judy will send out a reminder email. She sent an email to the campus vice presidents asking them to contact the provosts about the pizza party.
IV.	Goals The goals were due by March 1. Judy passed out copies. They are the same as last year. She would like to get 50-100 new members this year.

V.	Membership

Meeting with Dr. Calderon: Judy met with Dr. Calderon on February 10. He was very supportive of FACC. Judy stressed to him that it has to come from the Senior Administration to let employees attend meetings. He agreed as long as offices do not close. Judy told him we want to hold a competition on each campus with the prize of a breakfast or lunch. He suggested that we could have a senior administrator serve. He also suggested a cruise or nighttime or weekend event around July.

Membership Committee: Carolane Williams has volunteered to chair. Judy and Carolane need to meet with Janice.

VI.

Region V Conference

A.	Door Prizes: We have already received some door prizes but need more.
B.	Theme: The theme will be “Dare to be Great.”
C.	Decorations: Shirley and Sue Mattson will be in charge of the decorations
D.	TDA's: Judy thinks that SPD may not cover the Thursday evening social event but she will check .

VII.

Other

A.	By-Laws: Judy would like to have Barbara Pippin and Suzanne Nicolini work on the by-laws revision with Jim Lansing.
B.	FACC Emails: Shirley suggested that FACC be spelled out in our emails.

VIII.	Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 pm.
IX.	Post Meeting: Judy met with Sharon Stern and Janice D'Andrea at 2:00pm. They discussed updating the membership list by comparing the database to payroll deductions and those who pay by check.
