| BIOGRAPHY: Professor Johnson received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Florida and her Master of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University. A member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association, she has worked as a professional actress in theatres across the continental U.S., as well as in film and television. Ms. Johnson founded two Equity theatre companies and as well as two acting schools which featured all-professional, union-affiliated actors as instructors. In South Florida, she has taught various theatre disciplines including Acting, Voice for the Actor, Audition Technique (for stage and film), Shakespeare’s Verse Text, Theatre Appreciation, Movement and Professional Aspects, a class designed to assist theatre students in their efforts to secure professional acting and/or teaching assignments upon graduation. | Teaching Philosophy |
