Broward College is proud to serve our nation’s military members! General Education Mobile (GEM) is a partnership between the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and civilian academic institutions to offer general education courses to meet CCAF Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree requirements. GEM allows Air Force and Space Force students to complete general education courses at Broward College via online distance learning coursework anytime or anywhere for faster degree completion. Visit the Air Force and Space Force Virtual Education (AFVEC) website to learn more about CCAF.

Students must apply online to Broward College. GEM students must apply as a non-matriculated/non-degree seeking student. There is no application fee; however, there is a transient fee not to exceed $5.00 per course. This is a nonrefundable processing fee.
