I teach these HonorsCourses:
SPC 1600
Interests: reading, dancing,
international travel, and antique hunting
Teaching Philosophy: Opening our students'
eyes to their incredible potential, their special
gifts and celebrating their success. It is particularly
gratifying when students reach their
star and succeed beyond what they had originally hoped
or even dreamed!
Inspiration: An old swahili proverb
I discovered during my early college education has been
my personal motto: "The stars
never shine as brightly when the moon is full." If
a faculty member is focused on his or her own achievements,
there is no room for the student's accomplishments to
shine.
