Teaching Philosophy: Success for my students
is rooted in my hope that they will become life-long learners
who enjoy reading and writing. I want them to leave my
classroom with the ability to find the beauty and truth
in the texts they read and to discover the power of their
own voice in their writing. Success means they believe
in their own ability and that they care enough to deliver
their personal best effort.
Inspiration: My grandmother, whose loving
and firm encouragement inspired four generations of teachers.
