Interests: reading, playing in church bell choir

Teaching Philosophy: I am inspired by working with students who see the relevance of writing and seeing excitement as students perform, create, and interpret literary passages.

Inspiration: In 1980, in my first adjuncting position (North Campus), I worked with a quadriplegic. If he can succeed in writing and at college, then anyone can!
