Teaching Philosophy:Having spent 23 years in finance and banking, I came to teaching as a second career. Without question, the most exciting part of my job is my interaction with students. There is nothing as rewarding as watching students become more and more engaged participants in society.
Inspiration:My favorite novelist is Margaret Atwood; my favorite classical painter is Brueghel; my favorite 20th century composer is a tie between Benjamin Britten and McCartney/Lennon; my favorite contemporary artist is Eric Fischel; my favorite contemporary popular performer is Cher. Each of these artists is unafraid to be unique. They inspire me with their courage, talent, drive, and focus. |
