*Note: Designated flight courses require minimum deposit of $1000 to set-up flight training accounts with the College. Flight accounts may not go below $650 without approval. Course training minimum applies although costs vary due to proficiency. Students are eligible for refund of unused account funds. All applicants are subject to TSA Citizenship/Immigration & background verification requirement. Additional fee may apply. Training deposits are made to the South Campus Cashier using the deposit slip provided at the window. Take the receipt to bldg. 99 room 153. All students must obtain a BCC ID ($15) through Student Life, bldg. 68, and Parking Decal from Safety in building 71. Accelerated Private Pilot 141 Ground School EDE0792 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge and meet the prerequisites specified in FAR Parts 61 and 141 for the FAA Private Pilot Airplane Knowledge Exam.
Accelerated Instrument Pilot 141 Ground School EDE0785 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge and meet the prerequisites specified in FAR Parts 61 and 141 for the FAA Instrument Rating Airplane Knowledge Exam.
Accelerated Commercial Pilot 141 Ground School EDE0786 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge and meet the prerequisites specified in FAR Parts 61 and 141 for the FAA Commercial Pilot-Airplane Knowledge Exam.
VFR Flight (Visual Flight Rules) Proficiency Training/Biennial Flight Review / BFR (ASEL)* EDE0787 Obtain proficiency in flying a Single-Engine Airplane in VFR conditions. Student must be at least a private pilot. Training may be applied towards a Biennial Flight Review (BFR) and/or may satisfy the requirements towards the Aviation Safety "WINGS" Program.
VFR/IFR (Visual Flight Rules/Instrument Flight Rules) Flight Instrument Proficiency Check / IPC (Instrument Proficiency Check) (ASEL)* EDE0788 Obtain proficiency in flying a Single-Engine Airplane in VFR and IFR conditions. Student must be instrument rated. Training may be applied towards Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC), Biennial Flight Review (BFR), and/or Aviation Safety "WINGS" Program.
Accelerated Private Pilot Flight Course - Airplane (ASEL)* EDE0793 Obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a Private Pilot Certificate with an airplane Category and Single Engine Land Class Rating, 14 CFR Part 141.
Accelerated Instrument Rating Flight Course - Airplane (ASEL)* EDE0789 Obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for an Instrument Rating - Airplane, 14 CFR Part 141, Appendix C.
Accelerated Commercial Pilot Flight Course - Airplane (ASEL)* EDE0790 Obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an airplane category and single-engine land class rating - 14 CFR Part 141, Appendix D and 14 CFR Part 141.55(e).
Flight Instructor Airplane - Single Engine Ground School EDE0811 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge, instructional background and meet prerequisites specified in FAR Part 141 for the FAA Fundamentals of Instruction and Flight Instructor - Airplane Computerized Knowledge Exam and practical tests.
Instrument Flight Instructor Ground School EDE0733 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge, instructional background and meet prerequisites specified in FAR Part 141 for Flight Instructor Instrument.
Instrument Flight Instructor Rating Course Flight - Airplane (ASEL)* EDE0822 Obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for the addition of an instrument, airplane rating to an existing flight instructor certificate - Airplane.
Multi-Engine Rating - Airplane (VFR/IFR) Ground School EDE0812 Obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge, and meet prerequisites specified in FAR Part 141 for Multi-engine Land Class Rating with Instrument Airplane Multi-engine privileges. | |||
