Scholarships for Women

WINGS Displaced Homemaker Scholarship


Women in transition due to separation, divorce, death or disability of a spouse, returning to school and demonstrating financial need may be eligible for this award. This scholarship can be used for tuition, special fees, and books.


Criteria:

  • Age 35 years or older
  • Separated, divorced, widowed, or disabled spouse
  • 2.5 Cumulative GPA
  • Must file for Financial Aid (FASA) and demonstrate financial need
  • Full time or part time student pursuing a degree or certificate program
  • Attending Broward College taking a minimum of 6 credits
