Scholarships for Women

WINGS Scholarship
Women in transistion due to separation, divorce, death or diability of a spouse, returning to school and demonstrating financial need may be eligible for this award. This scholarship can be used for tuition, special fees, and books.


 Bunny Hedrick Scholarship
First priority for this award is women, age 35 to 50, returning to school with financial needs. The student must be enrolled in an A.A. degree or A.S. degree program in health science or aviation with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students may be enrolled full or part-time. This scholarship can be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

 

Kate Platt Endowed Scholarship
Full-time students with a demonstrated financial need and a 2.5 GPA are eligible for this scholarship. Preference will be given to single mothers returning to college. This scholarship covers all education-related expenses.

 

Heminger Family Scholarship
Displaced homemakers or returning students 25 years or older with a 2.0 GPA are eligible for this scholarship. It can be used for tuition, special fees, and books.
