Broward College Web Standards The BC web site maintains a consistent look, feel and branding to maintain the one college philosophy. The header, footer and left navigation are used on all web pages. Relevant use of appropriately sized graphics is encouraged and supported by the Web Team.  Please review the Best Practices Section of our Online Style Guide for more information.

 
Create a New Web site
To request a new web site submit a helpdesk ticket. You will be contacted by a member of the Web Services Team. Provide us with the content you wish to display. See our best practices, style guide and usability information to guide you in creating content for the web. New web sites will be created in WAM version 5.7.

About WAM
WAM is BC's Web Authoring Manager. We are currently running version 5.7 for all new web sites.
It is a robust enterprise content management solution that manages Web content, documents, digital assets and scanned images.

Update Existing Web Content (not in WAM)
To update existing content on the web site, submit a helpdesk ticket. Include the complete URL of the web page you need to have updated as well as the specific information you want updated. Provide information in a digital format.
