When a student is transferring from a post-secondary institution (college or university) outside the United States, Broward College requires the official transcripts in original language with a certified English translation as part of the application process. However, Language program applicants are not required to submit university transcripts while attending the English program.
After admission, the student has to provide to Broward College a commercial evaluation of all course work completed at the post-secondary institution (college or university) outside the United States within thirty days of admission.
The purpose of the evaluation is EDUCATION and must include the following:
Course-by-course Evaluation.
Upper Division Course Identification.
The commercial evaluation requirement is a change in policy intended to speed up the evaluation process, thereby allowing for timely and accurate advisement.
Please contact one of the following commercial evaluation companies from whom we will accept evaluations.
